RunSignal Privacy Policy

Summary

RunSignal does not collect your data. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. All sensor data and run history are processed and stored only on your iPhone. Nothing is transmitted to us or to anyone else.

Data the app processes on your device

• Heart rate and motion data from Bluetooth sensors you pair (such as a Polar H10 chest strap), used to calculate live running metrics like cadence and heart-rate zones.
• Location (GPS), used while you run to calculate pace and distance.
• Run history and logs, stored locally in the app's documents folder on your device.

All of this stays on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes it.

Permissions the app requests, and why

• Bluetooth — to connect to your heart-rate or motion sensor.
• Location (while using the app) — to measure pace and distance during a run.

The app requests no other permissions.

What leaves your device

Nothing, automatically. If you choose to export a run (for example as a CSV or GPX file), the export is created on your device and shared only where you send it. That action is entirely under your control.

Apple Health

RunSignal does not currently integrate with Apple Health. A future version may offer optional Health integration; this policy will be updated before any such feature ships.

Children

RunSignal is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly process data from them.

Changes to this policy

If the app's behavior changes in a way that affects your privacy, this page will be updated before that change is released, and the effective date above will be revised.
